Most of the devices we use come with a "garaged" pen. What this means is that they go into the device when not in use. While they are "garaged" they will charge.
This means that as long as your pen is placed in the garage with the right orientation it will charge the pen's battery to be able to use
Pens usually only take a few minutes to charge. If it does not work after a few minutes it could be a few different issues.
Potential Issues and Solutions:
- Pen Tip is missing: Bring it down to the tech bar and we usually have extra pen tips to replace yours with.
- Contacts Bent: Sometimes the contacts on the inside of the device get bent. Bring it to the tech bar and we can see about getting them fixed.
- The pen is damaged: If the board inside the pen is damaged or the pen was forced into the garage when it was not correctly aligned then it will damage the pen. Come to the tech bar to get a replacement
*Pens are not covered by the school's warranty so if the pen is not working and we have to replace it there will be a fee assessed to your school fees.*
