Wireless Display Not Connecting

This is for the Wireless Display in rooms with Projectors and Standard TV's. if you have an Interactive ViewSonic Panel please see the help page on Vcast. 

So, you go to use your wireless display and it will not work. Thankfully there are some simple solutions you can do to make the connection start to work again.

Solution 1: Restart Everything (Fixes the issue 99% of the time)

• Restart your computer
• Restart the WiDi. This can be accomplished by unplugging the power cable from the back of the WiDi box which is usually located on top of the projector. Then plug it back in and let it reboot.
• After doing both of the above, try to reconnect to the WiDi.

Solution 2: Reset your connection (Use this solution if the first solution did not work)

1. Click on the start button on your device
2. Type " Run " and press enter
3. In the box that opens type " \\lmfs2\sft " and press enter
4. In the new window that opens double click on the program called " mirapurge.exe" 
5. It will open a black box for about ~10 seconds and then go away. 
6. Close all the open windows and retry to connect to the Wireless Display
